The OpenSSL Project has recently announced a security vulnerability in OpenSSL (CVE-2014-0160). This vulnerability, more commonly known as the Heartbleed bug, allows remote hackers to obtain sensitive information by sending a malicious heartbeat message to a web server to trick it into giving up sensitive information.
